On the 21st November 2020, the Information Center for Migrants in Burgas organized an info session and a group consultation for legally staying migrants in Burgas and the region.

The Information Center for Migrants in Sofia held an info session on 10.11.2020 with legally residing migrants from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

The Republic of Bulgaria participated in the regional conference “Emigration and Diaspora Engagement to Promote Private Sector Development”, organized by IOM Georgia.

IOM Bulgaria provided support to the SAR in escorting 15 of the 17 newly arrived unaccompanied asylum-seeking children from Greece, to their new home in RRC Harmanli.

IOM’s Information Centre in Burgas continues to organize groups for our remote education Bulgarian language course.

The event was met with great interest in the presented topics and in the first joint exhibition by migrant and local artists.

Three weeks after the end of Graffiti Fest 2020 we are watching the wall and admiring the result.

On the 16th of October at “Oborishte 5” hall, a multicultural information event was held, organized by IOM Bulgaria.

Despite the unprecedented situation, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, this year won’t make an exception.

This is the number of legally residing migrants who have successfully completed the courses in levels A1 and A2, provided free of charge from IOM between the spring of 2019 and now.
