Online Bulgarian language education in IOM’s Information Centre in Burgas

IOM’s Information Centre in Burgas continues to organize groups for our remote education Bulgarian language course.

The Bulgarian language course is using the popular ZOOM platform. The number of students in one group is capped at 15 persons.

Currently two groups are studying Bulgarian language online at level A1. Thanks to the remote education process, third country nationals living outside of Burgas have the possibility to join the courses – living in places such as Sveti Vlas, Aheloy, Ravda, Sunny Beach, Pomorie, Gabrovo, etc.

IOM’s Information Centre in Burgas has a waiting list of more than 300 third country nationals willing to join the Bulgarian language education. The number of people who have successfully completed the education courses since the beginning of the program is currently 278 persons.

The activities of the remote education on Bulgarian language are realized in the framework of project "Training and Counselling of Legal Migrants, Asylum Seekers and Beneficiaries of International Protection" funded by the National Program of Bulgaria under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2014-2020.
