International Organization for Migration, in partnership with UNICEF, conducted a training on the topic “Prevention of gender-based violence” on the 28th of July 2020.

On the 30th of April IOM Bulgaria started the project “Awareness raising of local communities in areas with significant share of Roma population on asylum and migration issues”.

IOM Bulgaria participated in the celebration of World Refugee Day in RRC Harmanli.

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, IOM Bulgaria and SAR organized a football game with the participation of the boys accommodated in the Safety Zones.

The children made drawings on the following two topics: (1) What do I want to be when I grow up? and (2) What are my hopes and dreams? IOM’s social workers also joined in and drew together with the kids.

IOM Bulgaria continues its campaign to support migrants who are in a situation of vulnerability due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
